No. Joining is completely free. You never pay anything, not even if a tip does not work out. You can stop at any time.
How much do I earn per tip?
You get a fixed amount per successful tip: € 150 when someone finds a rental, € 150 when someone rents out their home and € 350 when someone sells their home. It does not matter what the home costs. The more tips work out, the more you get. The levels apply to tips paid in your first 12 months. From the moment you add someone, your account shows the amount waiting for you.
When do I get my money?
Once the deal is done and your fee is fixed. We pay out once a month, on the 1st of the next month. My money shows exactly which amount comes when.
What do I need to do?
Only share your link or add someone with their name and phone number. We get in touch and arrange everything: viewings, the offer and the contract. You do not need to sell or explain anything.
Who can I tip?
Anyone in Amsterdam who is looking for a rental, wants to rent out a home or wants to sell a home. Think of friends, family, colleagues or your followers. You may also sign up yourself or family. A tip to yourself does not count for your level. Tips for buying a home are coming soon.
Can I just add anyone?
No. Ask first. The person must know you are giving us their name and number, and be fine with us getting in touch. You are responsible for that yourself. We then get in touch once: if someone is looking for a rental, we send one WhatsApp message. If someone wants to let or sell, we call once. If the person does not reply, they do not hear from us again. You can add up to 20 people per day.
Can I also tip other agents?
For homes in Amsterdam you tip only us. Outside Amsterdam you are free. If you also register someone in Amsterdam with another agent, you get nothing for that tip.
How does ApartmentHub know the client came through me?
Through your own link. If someone sends a WhatsApp or fills in the form through your link, that person is linked to you for 12 months. If you add someone yourself, we link them to you straight away. You see it right away under My tips.
Why does a tip sometimes not count?
For example when the person already knew us or was registered earlier by someone else. Then the first registration counts. Right after you add someone, you see whether your tip counts. We do not show why a tip does not count, to protect the privacy of our clients.
How long does my tip stay valid?
12 months from registration. If it works out within that time, you get your money. The tip counts for the service the person came for. If someone rents through you and later buys a home, that does not count again.
What if a deal falls through?
Does a deal fall through after all? Sometimes you still get your fee. You will see it in your account.
What do I see of the person, and do I pay tax?
For each tip you see which step it is in and the date, for example viewing planned, offer made or home found. You do not see addresses, amounts, payment details or documents. After a deal you only see whether your fee is fixed. You are responsible for declaring your earnings in your tax return. If you are unsure how that works, ask the Dutch tax office or an adviser.
